Bravos Collision is seeking a Director of Operations. The Director oversees daily operations, performance and profitability of multiple collision repair centers, ensuring all locations meet company standards for quality, customer service, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a positive culture in the shops
- Foster sales building and relationships with insurance carriers
- Oversee operations of all collision repair centers within the assigned region or company wide
- Ensure all locations meet or exceed goals related to revenue, customer satisfaction, cycle time, quality, and profitability
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and best practices to optimize workflow and customer service
- Monitor and analyze operational performance using KPIs; identify trends and areas for improvement
- Support store managers in personnel development, hiring, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with other departments (HR, Marketing, Finance, Procurement) to align business operations with strategic goals
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and environmental guidelines
- Lead efforts in lean process improvement and cost-control strategies
- Maintain and build relationships with insurance partners, vendors and customers
- Drive a company culture focused on safety, accountability and excellence
- Plan for growth by evaluating potential acquisition or expansion opportunities
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in automotive collision repair industry, with at least 3 years in a multi‑unit operational leadership role
- Strong understanding of collision repair processes, industry regulations and insurance DRP programs
- Proven track record of improving operational performance and driving profitability
- Strong leadership, communication and team‑building skills
- Ability to analyze data, create reports, and make strategic business decisions
- Proficiency with management software (e.g., CCC ONE) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel regularly to various shop locations
- Experience managing operations during a merger/acquisition
- Familiarity with OEM certifications and repair standards
- Spanish or bilingual language skills a plus
- Office and shop environment; travel between locations as required
- May involve occasional evening or weekend work
