Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) Operations team in San Antonio, TX!

Position Responsibilities:

* Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors

* Leads, develops and motivates employees

* Manages employees performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines

* Supports the development and execution of integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives

* Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

* Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

* Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing

* 3+ years of experience in leadership, leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change

* 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

* 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams

* 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost

* 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment

* Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience in leading large scale / organizational change
