Operations Engineer, Quality Engineering
Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage up to 80 containers being delivered and offloaded to our new state‑of‑the‑art plant and off‑site warehouse facility daily. This position will oversee both plant‑floor logistics activities and 3PL partners while closely aligning with key stakeholders of the business to ensure that the supply of materials to the plant meets the production schedule.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities- Work collaboratively with the Lead Logistics Partners and Senior Planner.
- Schedule inbound components to meet production requirements while maintaining minimal safety stock levels in alignment with our 3PLs and planning team.
- Generate and communicate supplier material delivery schedules and forecasts to ensure they reflect requirements and meet demands.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve supplier delivery concerns and evaluate supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand vessel schedules and impacts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement at both the plant and with our 3PLs.
- 4 years of domestic and international logistic experience.
- 4 years of supervising a plant materials floor team with focus on kitting and material delivery to the line.
- 2 years of working as a planner in a JIT environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent.
- 2 years of ERP experience (SAP).
- 2 years’ experience managing 3PL deliverables.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Comfortable in an in‑person office environment.
- Technical competence is a plus.
- Customer service oriented, flexible, and high energy level.
- Excellent follow‑through skills.
- Professional, polished, sophisticated demeanor.
- Open to domestic and international travel.
- Desire and proven ability to learn and grow.
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
