Monday–Friday: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. 8‑hour shifts with a 30‑minute lunch break at Applewhite facility and Building #28 inside Toyota campus.
Vacancies- 2 openings: 1st shift starting 5:30 am and 6:00 am

The Injection/Blow Molding Press Operator is responsible for receiving plastic injection molding parts from presses. This hands‑on, entry‑level manufacturing position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Receive injection‑molded plastic parts from the press and process them according to specifications, including passing parts through secondary equipment for assembly.
- Inspect finished products for quality to ensure product is free from injection molding defects such as flash, splay, and short shots.
- Maintain the process speed to meet cycle time standards for each product type.
- Verify that equipment is operating properly. Notify Team Leader or Group Leader if equipment is not performing to standard.
- Follow all job‑specific Work Instructions (Standard Work Instructions).
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping by 5S standards in the assigned work area. Keep work areas clear of debris or unnecessary items.
- Install components (clips, grommets, pads, foam, film, etc.) and detect defects on the plastic parts.
- Cross‑train in multiple operations and rotate tasks within the department to improve plant ergonomics.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production issues, equipment problems, or material shortages in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (preferred).
- Prior experience in plastics or injection molding (preferred but not required).

Computer
Skills:
- Basic skills using iPads, data entry, email, and web applications.
Mathematical Abilities:
- Basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:
- Understand and follow written technical procedures and instructions.
- Identify and report potential quality or safety issues.
Communication
Skills:
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective at all levels.
- Bilingual English‑Spanish preferred.

- Effectively organize and prioritize work.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to detect defects.
- Initiate and work independently while maintaining a team‑oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and rotate across multiple operations.
- Use sharp hand tools such as cutters and blades.
Physical Requirements:
- 100% spent on production floor; manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
- Lifts, squats, twists, bends, and stands up to 2‑4 hours at a time; performs repetitive movements.
- Lifts 25 lb individually and 50 lb as a team.
- Performs job safely per SOP without endangering self or others.
