Prepare material from Sheet Metal to meet customer specification and NSF requirements from different customers.

• Smooth out Sheet Metal imperfections from prior processes following indications from blueprints.
• Understand specific tasks and processes to perform this key secondary process, ensuring finish product is cosmetic and meets NSF requirements.
• Use diverse hand tooling to perform the job.
• Complete assigned jobs on time and maintain an accurate count of processed parts.
• Perform daily housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Complete written log of work done, hours spent, and number of parts produced.
• Ensure that the parts processed meet specification and all known quality requirements before and after the process steps.
• Report any safety, quality, and waste issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Read and follow instructions from blueprints to ensure parts meet specification.
• Excellent hands‑on skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Do basic shop math and use measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and dial calipers.
• Some lifting required.
• Self‑motivated to perform tasks to meet assigned work.

• High School or GED level education preferred.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Equivalent experience as a handyman may be substituted for educational minimums.

The role requires standing for up to 8 hours, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, handle, and feel. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
