This role operates on the 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Onboarding ScheduleA structured 4–5 day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is required during the first week.
Position SummaryAs an Inventory Control Operator II, you’ll help manage inventory accuracy and product flow across the warehouse. You’ll coordinate transfers, investigate discrepancies, and support packaging operations by preparing materials. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and help maintain inventory systems.
Responsibilities- Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are available for picking.
- Coordinate transfers and sample/stability product requests.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare pull-down requests and support packaging operations.
- Log cube and weight for new items in the inventory system.
- Collaborate with team members to distribute work and maintain workflow.
- Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2–5 years of inventory control or related experience.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally with assistance.
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.
- Basic proficiency in English language to comply with verbal and written directions.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and inventory systems.
- Proficiency in AS400, Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Team-oriented and proactive.
