Industrial Pipe Welder

Talascend is currently seeking an Industrial Pipe Welder for a contract opportunity with our client in San Antonio, Texas
.

• Seeking experienced P22 pipe welders for work at a coal‑fired power plant. This role involves high‑pressure chrome‑moly piping and requires x‑ray quality welds in a safety‑critical industrial environment.

• Weld P22 chrome‑moly piping using TIG and stick processes.
• Produce x‑ray quality welds to ASME standards.
• Follow all welding procedures including preheat, interpass, and PWHT.
• Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Maintain strict safety and quality compliance.

• Experience welding P22 or similar alloy piping.
• Ability to pass x‑ray weld test.
• Power plant or heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Must pass background and drug screen.

Background Check and Drug Screen may be required.
