Medical Device Repair Technician
Our client, a leader in medical device repair and manufacturing, is seeking a Medical Device Repair Technician to join their team. As a Medical Device Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting device repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Location:
San Antonio, TX
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on W-2
Duration: 6+ month contract
What's the Job?- Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment.
- Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to releasing them back to customers.
- Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
- Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related electrical/mechanical work.
- Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Willingness to meet physical demands of the role, including passing a fitness test if required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
