PAY RATE: $35.00/hour

- Performs on and off aircraft electrical modification to electrical wiring and system components.
- Performs complex connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
- Understands wire handling and routing instructions for electrical assemblies.
- Performs sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification or repair.
- Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft electrical and environmental systems of moderate difficulty at organizational or depot maintenance level.
- Performs aircraft bench and flight line operational testing and troubleshooting per DOD, manufacturer, and company directives.
- Performs assembly, installation, check-out, operational testing, and modification of wire bundles in aircraft testing and development.
- Interprets standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, formulas, sketches, and verbal or electronic orders.
- Uses precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements.
- Ability to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical modification, wiring, connector terminations, and troubleshooting on aircraft.
- 4+ years of experience knowledgeable in electrical and electronic theories and systems sufficient to perform assigned duties.
- Ability to perform on and off aircraft electrical modification to wiring and system components.
- Experience with complex connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and environmental systems.
- Experience with assembly, installation, operational testing, and modification of wire bundles.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Preferred:
Experience with Depot Level or Modification maintenance and ability to operate forklift, mobile crane, and elevating equipment.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
