Printing & Mailing Specialist

The Printing & Mailing Specialist is responsible for one or more components related to producing and disseminating high quality documents for internal and external audiences. The Specialist operates and maintains a range of printing and finishing equipment, utilizes printing equipment with network capabilities according to user organization requirements and/or operates the inserting and folding machine, and the postage meter process to facilitate the mailing of billing statements or related materials.

The Specialist may be asked to provide support in both areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to report to work on time, maintain a good attendance record, and work all designated work schedules.
• One year of experience printing with high-speed document equipment with network capabilities, printing press or equivalent commercial printing environment.
• One year of experience operating mail inserting system and postage metering equipment.
• Valid Class "C" Driver's License.
• Ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to safeguard and maintain a high level of confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to function in high pressure situations to meet workload demands.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain contact with internal and external customers, vendors, and governmental agencies.

Additional

Skills and Experience:

• Skill in operating a Four-Color offset press or equivalent.
• Skill in operating a Client Versant 180 printing system or equivalent.
• Skill in operating a Client Inserting Machine or equivalent.
