Job Description: Manage daily operations of processing functions and maintenance of processing infrastructure ensuring service level agreements are met in support of clients and company mission-critical business requirements.
Schedule: Night shift, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday OR Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of processing functions and maintenance of processing infrastructure, ensuring service level agreements are met in support of clients and company mission-critical business requirements
- Oversee 30-35 people in a production environment, including staffing and assigning tasks to leads and direct reports
- Set and achieve daily production goals and plan for longer-term SLAs, typically on a weekly basis
- Manage multiple job functions through the card production process (printing, embossing, kitting, shipping)
- Serve multiple customers daily, handle escalations, and solve problems
- Provide guidance, hold the team accountable to goals, and manage productivity
- Operate and manage people using equipment/machinery
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- 5+ years’ experience leading 20+ direct reports in a manufacturing environment with people and equipment (electronic equipment)
- Emotional intelligence
- Knowledge of all processing phases and administration
- Proficiency with communication, escalation management, and project management methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Ability to evaluate performance capabilities, counsel subordinates, and make projections of future expenses based on past expenditures
- Ability to operate independently
- Lean manufacturing and Continuous improvement methodology
- Production, planning, and production control experience
