Forklift Operator, Material Handler
POSITION SUMMARY
U.S. Auto Force, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm or until work is completed;
Saturday rotation for overtime from 7:45 am – 2:00 pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
- Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment.
- Use scanners to locate and put away tires and assist with inventory control.
- Lift consistently up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds; perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment when lifting commercial tires.
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
- Operate safely at stock rack heights up to 25 feet.
- Remain on the move, ready to work on feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
- Assist other departments (e‑commerce, inventory, will‑call) as business needs arise.
- Perform additional job‑related tasks and follow supervisor instructions, subject to reasonable accommodations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be capable of visual, auditory, physical, and mental tasks to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires requires team lifts or mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, self‑retracting lifeline (SRL). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except steel/composite toe boots. All team members must adhere to safety and manufacturing guidelines for compliant use of protective equipment.
Work environment may expose the employee to weather conditions and moderate noise levels. Fumes from tires, car parts, and lubricants may be present.
QUALIFICATIONS- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment.
- At least 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires.
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards.
- Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines.
- Ability to pass forklift certification.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (non‑THC).
