Food Production Associate

The Food Production Associate is responsible for performing various tasks including culling, sorting, washing, peeling, cutting, packaging, and palletizing finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble ingredients, including washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, blending, and weighing.
• Operation of handheld tools and equipment.
• Keen Vigilance upholding quality and standards is a must.
• Packaging finished goods, ensuring that products are securely sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment or storage.
• Perform routine cleaning on production lines to keep things tidy and organized and safely sanitized.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any potential hazards or concerns.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow established recipes and production specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet production demands.
• The work environment is in a cold storage facility; temperature range is 34°F throughout your work shift.
