Manufacturing Operator Tech; AR

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription lenses for the application of thin-film coatings.
• Prioritize job processing flow according to incoming and outgoing work tickets, validating that correct lenses are paired with the proper tickets.
• Prioritize backlogged job flow using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Load baskets onto the ultrasonic dispersion holder and remove them after completion.
• Place the clipboard containing corresponding basketwork orders into the carousel for AR Coaters.
• Inspect and replace ultrasonic water, water filters, and osmosis element as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the overall facility.
• Practice and comply with all requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.
• Re‑inspect lenses and properly insert them into holders on the ultrasonic insertion basket.
• Inspect individual lens surfaces for defects, wash lenses to remove all oils and surface debris.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience:
  
  One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Endorsements:
  Required for T‑40 operation for use of ultrasonic equipment and chemicals.
• Language:
  Ability to read English to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical:
  Ability to perform basic adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Reasoning:
  Ability to think logically following procedures and instructions, exhibit sound judgment, and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate execution of procedures.
• Multi‑tasking and prioritizing detailed tasks with minimal input.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Ability to work onsite and participate in interactive onsite meetings on a regular and predictable basis.
• Initiate immediate interaction, coordination, and collaboration with team members, clients, customers, etc.

• Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms most of the time; occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; when lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, use two or more people.
• Noise level moderate (use of computers, printers, and machines).
• Work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
