Product Puller

Responsibilities include:

• Loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
• Receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in distribution of product.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information.
• Document information in accordance with SOPs.
• Assist in continuous improvement opportunities.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work consistently with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Can effectively work in a team environment.
• Can legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Can use company computer systems.
• Can work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Can communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Can follow directions.
• Can add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
