The mission of the Winding and Curing Operator is to execute winding and curing operations accurately and reliably to ensure consistent product quality, stable processes, and safe operation of equipment. The role supports daily production by following defined procedures, monitoring processes, and contributing to efficient and repeatable manufacturing operations.
Expected OutcomesA Successful Winding And Curing Operator Will
- Execute winding and curing tasks according to work instructions and process parameters
- Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications
- Operate winding and curing equipment safely and reliably
- Identify deviations and report issues in a timely and structured manner
- Support stable production flow and daily output targets
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized production environment
- Operate winding and curing equipment according to defined procedures
- Execute manual and semi‑automated winding and curing steps as assigned
- Monitor process parameters, equipment behavior, and product condition during production
- Perform visual and basic quality checks during and after processing
- Document production data, deviations, and observations accurately
- Support setup, changeover, and shutdown of winding and curing equipment
- Follow safety, quality, and operational guidelines at all times
- Communicate issues, deviations, or abnormalities to the Winding and Curing Lead
- Support cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the production area
- Work closely with on‑site production, quality, and operations teams
Technical and Operational Know‑how
- Basic understanding of winding and curing or similar production processes
- Ability to operate technical equipment by following instructions
- Willingness to work with machines, tools, and defined process parameters
- Ability to follow structured procedures and document work accurately

- Ability to communicate issues and document production‑related information in English
- On‑site work is mandatory
- Ability to work reliably in a production environment with physical processes and equipment
- Our current facility is located in Lockhart, Texas (near Austin/San Antonio)
- In mid‑2026, Blackwave will relocate to a new site in the Port San Antonio aerospace hub
