Chipton‑Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 2 for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
Qualifications- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- 1+ years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
- 1+ years’ experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
- Previous Client Experience as ME
- Gold ESP
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
- Develop, implement and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
- Assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues.
- Collect data to support producibility assessments for part or product designs.
- Assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners and in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
- Build technical data packages for use by suppliers.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans.
- Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule.
- Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement.
- Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio.
- Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects.
- Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs and deadlines.
- Work 100% onsite; candidates must be local or willing to re‑locate prior to start at own expense.
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.
- The candidate must be able to go up and down stairs.
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work HoursFull‑Time / Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
