Overview
Manufacturing Section Lead (Finish) – PM:
Provide leadership, training, and coaching to support KPI achievement in the assigned production area. Drive continuous improvement, develop staffing to meet department KPIs, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Provide leadership, department training, and coaching on processes and non-conformance.
- Develop and assign work assignments; adjust staffing to meet department KPI targets.
- Drive results and achieve operational goals identified in Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive departmental excellence and enhance the customer experience.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and utilize structured problem-solving techniques to create and implement solutions.
- Provide input on associate talent snapshots and overall performance.
- Assist with cross-training, attracting, and developing talent.
- Practice, comply with, and enforce a safe and healthy work environment.
- Implement and maintain cleanliness of equipment, organization of workstations, and overall facility (6S).
- Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred. - Experience & Background:
Minimum 1–3 years in a fast-paced environment with increasing responsibility; manufacturing experience preferred. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; experience with structured procedures and processes.
- Language
Skills:
Professional written and verbal communication; ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and write routine reports; ability to present information to individuals or groups; bilingual ability (Spanish) desirable. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to perform analytical mathematics using standard units of measurement, distance, weight, volume, and currency. - Reasoning Ability:
Logical thinking in following procedures, general problem solving, sound judgment, and ability to interpret documents and instructions. - Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Ability to stand, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds (with two-person lift for heavier loads), work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; moderate noise level in the work environment. - Behavioral Characteristics:
Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, willingness to learn, ability to prioritize tasks with minimal input, and ability to participate in onsite meetings.
