Production Operator

Responsibilities- Manage daily activities of the production line(s) and ensure products meet Niagara’s standards of safety, quality, and throughput.
- Accurately complete applicable quality and production reports hourly.
- Inspect products physically and visually to detect non‑conforming goods.
- Report all quality defects to team members and shift leadership.
- Adhere to safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations, and maintain high standards of company and plant safety.
- Follow Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
- Maintain housekeeping in production and other areas assigned by plant leadership.
- Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties as required.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance.
- Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.
- Minimum 0 years experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
- Minimum 0 years experience in a comparable position.
- Minimum 0 years experience managing people or projects.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate’s Degree preferred.
- 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
