We are seeking a qualified candidate to help lead our Night Shift Card Production Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing production flow, strategically placing staff, and executing labor plans to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs). Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Schedule- Night Shift
- 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Either Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Friday
- Operate production machines, inserters, printers, bursters, metering machines, and general office equipment.
- Perform high‑speed, high‑volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting, and sorting card materials.
- Set up equipment, load materials, clear jams or simple malfunctions, and unload product from equipment.
- Maintain productivity across all systems while delivering a quality product and meeting production deadlines.
- Identify and resolve clearly defined operational issues.
- Complete and maintain operator reports and logs.
- Reconcile incoming and completed work.
- Assign staff members to machinery and work orders.
- Execute labor plans to achieve or exceed production goals.
- Communicate issues, concerns, or questions to the Production Department Management team.
- Perform repetitive work subject to inspection.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to remain flexible with changes in duties, workflow, and priorities.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks as required.
