Fittings Operator

Job Title

The NOV Fiber Glass Systems facility in San Antonio, TX, is currently hiring day shift contingent Fittings Operators for a duration of 2 to 3 months. This is an entry-level role that will require minimal training.

Job Summary:

Manufacture high-quality fittings, couplings, and/or flanges according to manufacturing specification sheets in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operation of winding machinery
• Knowledge of hydrotest equipment
• Use measuring equipment
• Understand specifications and how it relates to machine setup and product

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read pressure gauges
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
• Bending/Stooping/Sitting up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
• Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Assist where and when needed as required
• Utilize recommended safe work habits and make use of all safety equipment provided
• Assist with OJT (On-the-Job Training) employees as needed
