ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Fits, adjusts, installs or fastens unit or component parts to a unit.
- Solders (brazes) on the unit or its component parts.
- Shot blasts units, moves material and drives the forklift.
- Wraps units by using a heat gun.
- Prepares units for shipping.
- Cleans equipment.
- Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.
- Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional)
- Standing (constant)
- Walking (frequently)
- Bending (frequently)
- Climbing (occasional)
- Crawling (occasional)
- Reaching (frequent)
- Grasping (frequent)
- Sitting (occasional)
- Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Must follow written and oral instructions.
- Vision corrected to 20/20.
- Handling equipment (frequently)
Manufacturing – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED- Tape measure
- Small hand tools
- Power tools
- Crane
- Brazing torch
- Knowledge of hand tools.
- Read measuring tape.
- Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product.
- Some judgment required.
- Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
- Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
- Depending on the type of Assembler, this person must be able to qualify in one (1) of the following processes:
- Insulation
- PSI Testing
- Tube Rolling
- Hydro Testing
- Cable Assembly
- Panel Assembly
- Water Box Installation
- Brazing Test
- Covers
- Shotblast
- Forklift
- Heat Gun
As a condition of employment, active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.
HIRING HOURLY RATE$18.00 per hour (rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and market data).
