Job Description

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing/industrial kitchen environments, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise, including conveyors, motors, pumps, ovens, packaging machines, and low-voltage (12/24V) control systems, with the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with food processing equipment and regulated environments, including Multivac, labeling and packing machines, USDA-compliant facilities, and cold production settings such as meat or sausage processing plants.
• Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills, capable of identifying root causes, implementing long-term maintenance solutions, contributing with minimal training, and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
