Essentialduties include the following:
- Support internal clients (HR, community relations, etc.) in developing and executing internal and external communications that drive employee engagement, promote transparency, and align with organizational objectives.
- Write, edit, and produce a variety of communications content, including magazine articles, internal announcements, email campaigns, video scripts, press materials, and social media content.
- Manage and maintain communications channels and digital platforms, including the company intranet, editorial calendars, social media accounts, and other content distribution channels.
- Support the execution of communications campaigns, corporate initiatives, sponsor ships, partnerships, community relations activities, and promotional programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, audience engagement, and the company's online presence.
- Assist with company and employee award submissions, recognition programs, and reputation‑enhancing initiatives.
- Support public relations initiatives through the preparation of press releases, company announcements, executive biographies, media materials, and media monitoring activities.
- Conduct research, monitor industry trends and media coverage, represent the Corporate Communications & Public Relations team in meetings and presentations, and provide project coordination support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in communications, public/media relations, social media, or related field (internships may count).
- Strong writing and video editing skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to travel locally as needed.
