Volunteer Role
We are needing volunteers to help clean and/or organize patients' homes. These volunteers could be former CNA's or nurses or anyone who understands the importance of a clean and organized home at the end of life. We are looking for volunteers who want to pay it forward or volunteers who just want to help a vulnerable population of the terminally ill.
Responsibilities- Clean patients' homes, including laundry and dishes.
- Provide companionship to patients while visiting.
- Help patients and their loved ones who may lack the strength or energy to clean and organize their homes.
- Ability to donate 1–2 hours a week.
- Understanding of the importance of a clean and organized home at the end of life.
- Optionally, prior experience as a CNA, nurse, or similar background (preferred but not mandatory).
After 10 hours, we will provide you with a recommendation from our office for future employment.
Safety GuidelinesWe follow CDC, CMS and CHAP guidelines for safety. All volunteers do not have to be fully COVID vaccinated as of 08/11/23.
