Celebrate Dyslexia Summer 2026 Internship Position

The Grant & Community Engagement Intern will support Celebrate Dyslexia's development, storytelling, and outreach efforts during a season of strategic growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity for a motivated student to gain meaningful experience in nonprofit fundraising, communications, and mission-driven community engagement. The intern will work closely with organizational leadership and contribute directly to initiatives that expand awareness, increase funding, and strengthen community partnerships.

This role is ideal for a student interested in nonprofit leadership, communications, public policy, education advocacy, philanthropy, marketing, or social impact.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (communications, nonprofit management, marketing, public policy, education, design, or related field preferred)
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace and social media platforms
  • Experience with Canva or basic design tools
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects
  • Passion for educational equity and systems change
  • Preferred but not required:
    Experience with grant writing or research
  • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising processes
  • Basic video editing skills
  • CRM or database experience
