The Guadalupe Radio Network (GRN) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven General Manager dedicated to evangelization, education, and community engagement through Catholic media, leading essential operations for 5 Catholic radio stations in South & Central Texas. This is a full-time position onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position is not remote-eligible. As General Manager, you will inspire staff and volunteers, cultivate meaningful relationships with parishes, donors, sponsors, and community partners, and provide strategic oversight for fundraising, operations, and ministry growth.
Because this role serves as a visible ambassador for the ministry and works closely with clergy, parish leaders, Catholic organizations, donors, and the broader community, the successful candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to supporting the teachings, mission, and values of the Catholic Church. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and fundraising experience with a passion for evangelization and a desire to advance the ministry's mission through the outreach and influence of Catholic radio.

Job Description KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cooperatively with clergy, parish leaders, volunteers, donors, Catholic organizations, and community stakeholders.
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic evangelization and the ability to represent Guadalupe Radio Network in a manner consistent with Catholic values and teachings.
- Effective public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage parish and community audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and ministry goals.
- Excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to host, produce, or lead local live radio programming, or a willingness to develop on-air communication skills.
- Experience organizing, recruiting, and coordinating large volunteer communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity software.
- Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and recognize volunteers and volunteer leadership teams.
- Technical aptitude to understand radio broadcast operations and collaborate effectively with engineering and production personnel.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor development, stewardship, and building strong community support for a mission-driven organization.
- Experience leading and managing operations for a volunteer-driven nonprofit, ministry, parish, diocesan office, faith-based organization, or community organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Catholic parishes, diocesan ministries, Catholic schools, apostolates, businesses, and community organizations.
- Plan and conduct parish outreach activities, parish presentations, and community engagement events throughout South and Central Texas.
- Develop and execute fundraising initiatives, including on-air campaigns, donor outreach, special events, parish engagement activities, and community fundraising efforts.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Catholic parishes, diocesan leaders, Catholic organizations, business leaders, sponsors, underwriters, donors, and community partners.
- Recruit, secure, and steward sponsors, underwriters, benefactors, and donors while strengthening long-term supporter relationships.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Guadalupe Radio Network through active participation in parish, diocesan, charitable, and community events.
- Support the growth and expansion of Guadalupe Radio Network's mission of evangelization, education, and Catholic outreach throughout the region.
