We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital | Westover Hills to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • 8 bed Intensive Care Unit
• Patient to Nurse ratio 2:1
• Provides care for a variety of patients including cardiac, DKA, Respiratory failure, STEMI, Renal, etc.
• The physicians are highly engaged and provide 24/7 coverage.
• 1:1 mentorship with supportive, experienced staff.
• Many opportunities and educational resources including national certification support and tuition reimbursement.
• Highly supportive staff that provides numerous education training for new nurses and residents.
• Conducts multidisciplinary rounds with the interdisciplinary team in identifying safe and efficient critical management for high acuity acute care.
• Nurses take pride in the TEAM environment and focus on the WHY of critical care.

• Manage clinically complex patients with multiple drips, access, and devices for critical care management.
• Actively involve and engage family in the care of critically ill patients, and end of life care.

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required.
• One (1) year of acute hospital experience as a licensed Registered Nurse strongly preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
