Be the primary clinician for a residential youth camp across a full summer season— handling everything from daily health management to emergency response, all within a structured, supportive on-site team. A strong fit for licensed nurses who want clinical depth, pediatric focus, and a meaningful seasonal placement that takes them somewhere new.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care including first aid administration, medication management, and emergency clinical response
- Own health record maintenance, incident documentation, and daily medical log accuracy throughout the season
- Carry out health screenings at camper intake and sustain ongoing wellness monitoring across the full program
- Act as the clinical point of contact between camp leadership and families on all health matters that arise
- Reinforce campus-wide health and safety standards in active partnership with program leadership
- Active RN license or multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license in good standing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Committed to living on-site for the full seasonal term
- Flexible and collaborative; genuinely at ease in communal, non-traditional living and working arrangements
- Clinical history in pediatrics, school nursing, or a prior camp setting
- Thrives with clinical autonomy; comfortable making sound decisions outside the structure of a hospital or clinic
- Open and ready to relocate to a different state for the length of the summer season
