Job Summary

Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists in a patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

• Conduct outpatient cardiology evaluations, follow-ups, and routine management.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas.
• National certification.
• Experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part a team.

• 207 bed facility, 5 operating suites, and 3 cardiac cath labs, including Bi-plane suite and hybrid OR.
