Alamo City Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic clinical team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced urgent care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and support staff while managing a diverse range of acute medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform procedures within scope of practice and training
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Actively participate in daily team huddles and support clinical staff with workflow and process improvements
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Utilize and support AI-assisted EMR documentation tools as appropriate
- Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience preferred
- National certification
- PA NCCPA
- NP AANP or ANCC
- DEA license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- DOT certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not required
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:45 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Rotating Saturdays (7:45 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Closed on Sundays
- Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (holiday rotations apply)
- Compensation
- Competitive shift-based pay $75-$80 per hour
