Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital Texsan to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. • 30‑bed medical/surgical ICU specializing in cardiovascular surgical care

• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
• Hold accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• One (1) year of critical‑care experience as a licensed Registered Nurse preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi‑State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
