Travel Surgical ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) in San Antonio, Texas. Position start ASAP, 13 weeks duration, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shift nights (7:00‑7:30 p.m. / 7:00‑7:30 a.m.), travel employment.

• Manage and assess critically ill patients, providing interventions and treatments as necessary.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including intubations and central line placements.
• Document patient care using Meditech and adhere to hospital guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, dressing changes, and Foley catheter placements.

• Minimum 2‑3 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Active Texas RN license (temporary license not accepted).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
