Cardiovascular Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit at Methodist Hospital Northeast. This role offers opportunities for career advancement through mentorship, clinical education courses, and professional certification support.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical‑surgical patients.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (employees with a RN Compact License must obtain a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (required).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
