We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing wound care team. This position requires immediate availability and frequent travel to long‑term care and skilled nursing facilities throughout Texas. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, providing high‑quality patient care, and traveling extensively throughout the week.
All approved travel expenses will be fully reimbursed in addition to your competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide wound care treatments and nursing services under the direction of the supervising provider.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor wound healing progress.
- Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain wound care supplies, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Travel to assigned facilities throughout Texas as scheduled.
- Current and active Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license – required.
- Immediate availability to begin working.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including at least 4 days per week with overnight stays as needed.
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in wound care, long‑term care, skilled nursing, or post‑acute care preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Wound care experience.
- Experience working in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or long‑term care facilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
