About the role

As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) you will support the operations at a Bio Life Plasma Collection Center under the guidance of the Center Manager and physician.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, medical history, and physical examination.
• Perform blood testing and review serological results, including SPE.
• Manage donor adverse events and monitor for reactions in accordance with SOPs.
• Follow medical emergency SOPs and coordinate with the Center Physician for standing orders and transport to facilities.
• Support hazardous materials and environmental, health and safety (EHS) guidelines.
• Assist in employee health initiatives such as hepatitis B, seasonal flu vaccinations, and incident investigations.
• Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• High school diploma or equivalent; or graduate of a recognized nursing program.
• Licensed (LPN/LVN) in the state of employment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Basic IV therapy training as required by state.
• Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
• Minimum two years clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage range U.S. – Texas: $24.32 to $33.44, subject to qualification and experience.
