Corporate Health Registered Nurse

Needed for an ongoing per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh’s corporate office client located in San Antonio, TX (must be able to cover 2 locations – West San Antonio 78251 and North San Antonio 78258).

This job is only on an as‑needed basis with the schedule usually made in advance. Must be able to work 0 to 5 shifts per week between Monday and Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Average is a couple of shifts a month. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of a corporate office.

Top Skills You Should Possess
  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Prior experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, family medicine, corrections, or school nursing type setting
  • Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills
  • Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
  • Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
  • Travel health consultation, health coaching, and health education
  • Provide medical testing/biometric screenings such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • Immunizations
  • Respond to emergencies onsite and provide emergency medical care as needed (assist first responders)
What You Need to Bring to the Table
  • MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE between Monday and Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm – this position is to cover for when full‑time staff need time off, so the schedule is very infrequent
  • BLS certified
  • Computer savvy (including prior EMR use)
