Behavioral Health / Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality mental health care in a progressive behavioral health setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for adult patients (18+).
The position offers an opportunity to work within an innovative care model that integrates ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) with holistic mental health interventions, alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
- Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Administer and oversee intravenous psychiatric medications and infusion therapies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
- Ensure continuity of care through follow-ups and coordinated treatment
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialization
- Active and unrestricted PMHNP certification
- Current Texas state licensure or eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Required:
Spravato or IV ketamine experience in Mental Health is Mandatory - Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, or infusion therapies preferred
