The Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other established policies and procedures, the CNC serves as a resource for staff and models the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
- Reflect core values when interacting with co‑workers, patients, family members, and the community to foster an engaging environment and unparalleled patient care.
- Lead in a way that inspires commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
- Represent the organization positively within the community; participate in community events and in‑services.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
- At least one year of healthcare experience.
- Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and three years of healthcare experience.
