Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the San Antonio, Tx location. This is a full‑time, Monday‑Friday 10‑hour shift with one day rotation off during the week.

LTIP is an incentive program that vests over a three‑year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology. Awards are discretionary and based on position, performance, and potential for future career growth. LTIP awards are subject to continued employment through the award payment date and are governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP document.

Under minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental differences across patient age groups. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to assess and manage patient and family needs and supports compliance with the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction and supervision.
• Administer medications/blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
• Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to therapy where applicable.
• Facilitate dose modifications by assessing labs, consulting protocols, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems, and symptom management.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
• Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 0–3 years of RN experience.
• Willingness to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidate.
• Current RN state license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The work environment includes exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.

Requires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
