Oversees patient care activities as well as operational activities for assigned facility. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Education
:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Minimum Experience
: 3 years nursing experience. Leadership and management abilities.

Required Certifications/Licensure
:
Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.

Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR): BLS obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network. Non-violent crisis intervention within 1 year of date of hire or transfer date into position.

Preferred Courses/Completions
: ACLS.
