Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview

Provides direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure quality patient care.

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitors patient vital signs and reports any changes to the physician.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient environment.
• Provides basic nursing care, such as wound care, specimen collection, and vital sign monitoring.

• 7PM - 7AM
• 13-week contract

• Current state licensure as an LVN/LPN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience in a Neurotelemetry setting preferred.

• Neurotelemetry

• Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring.
