RN, Registered Nurse - ICU Pediatric

Overview

The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications, monitoring treatments, documenting care, and educating patients and families.

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administer medications, monitor treatments, document care, and educate patients and families.
• Support preceptorship and competency validation, and adhere to organizational standards.

• BSN preferred; at least one year of relevant experience; active RN licensure with BLS certification.
• Additional certifications like ACLS and PALS are required within specified grace periods.
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, full-time, with a focus on pediatric or perinatal care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification compliance.
