RN – Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Contract:

Onsite, 13‑week term starting 6/26/2026.
Compensation: $1,477 weekly stipend, $7.25 per hour, $261 weekly base pay.

Shift: Night shift, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.

Unit: CVICU – requires training on CVICU devices to support cardiovascular cases.

• Assignment length: 13 weeks (optionally 26 weeks).
• Shift timing: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm / 7:00 pm – 7:30 am.
• Three days per week, 12‑hour night shifts.
• Float required; all travelers must float to various units.

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• Hemodynamic monitoring (swans, arterial lines).
• Ventilator management.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Active Texas RN license – no temporary license accepted.
• Experience with Post‑CABG, Post‑VAD, and post‑catheterization support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO).

• IABP exposure.
• CRRT exposure.
• Meditech charting and order entry.

• Scrub uniform required: navy or white scrub top and pants; scrub jacket if desired.
• Neat hair, clean shave or trimmed facial hair, no visible piercings except ears.
