Position Overview
The PRN RN will provide nursing oversight and support on an as-needed basis, including client assessments, supervisory visits, caregiver education, care planning, and clinical consultation to ensure our clients receive safe, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct nursing assessments and supervisory visits.
* Develop and update individualized service plans.
* Monitor client health status and communicate changes appropriately.
* Educate and support caregivers on client-specific care needs.
* Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
* Complete accurate and timely documentation.
* Participate in incident investigations and clinical consultations.
* Support agency compliance with Texas HHS regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications
* Current, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
* Minimum of one year of nursing experience (home care, hospice, or geriatrics preferred).
* Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
* Knowledge of Texas PAS regulations is a plus.
* Current CPR certification.
* Reliable transportation, valid Texas driver's license, and current auto insurance.
