We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading our team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and nurses in providing high-quality patient care. You will be expected to manage daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide guidance and support to your team members.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive to shift on time and complete CNA's assignment for the shift on the binder and on the board
• Review 24-hour report with charge nurse from the previous shift and complete monthly summary assigned for shift
• Conduct room rounds with off-going nurse and ensure CNA's documentation on ADLs and meal intake is completed before end of shift
• Complete skin assessment assigned for shift and ensure all shower sheets are turned in to you and reviewed before end of shift
• Complete all MDS charting, Skilled charting, changes in condition and/or new orders or treatments received for specific residents in their charts
• Complete incident report if any occur during shift and submit paperwork to unit manager or slide under DON's door
• Complete lab inquiries and noted on lab log for any new orders or any labs received (log them in)
