Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring medical surgical treatment in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during 13-week travel assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
• Proof of certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
