Touchstone Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for double-weekend shifts in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. In this role, you will safely administer medications, monitor and document resident responses, and support nurses in delivering person-centered care. You'll assist with basic resident needs, follow strict regulatory and infection-control standards, and communicate closely with families and the care team. Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions, promptly reporting concerns to nursing staff
  • Document all medication administration accurately in electronic or paper MARs
  • Assist with basic resident care needs, including vital signs and activities of daily living as assigned
  • Communicate changes in resident condition to nurses and participate in care plan updates
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and security of all medications
  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and caregivers to support resident-centered care
  • Provide compassionate, respectful interaction with residents and families
  • Work scheduled double-weekend shifts reliably and punctually
