Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Renal unit will provide exceptional care to patients, focusing on their unique needs. With advanced technology and a patient-centered approach, RNs will play a key role in the patient's health and recovery journey.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy.
- Provide wound care and manage drainage devices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust patient care plans.
- Conduct blood product administration in alignment with protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Preferably 1 year of med/surg nursing experience.
- Experience with Meditech is preferred.
