As a Licensed Vocational Nurse with Avir at Southcross, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care services to patients in our facility, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as ordered by physicians
- Recording patient data and updating patient charts accurately and efficiently
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and staff
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Provide direct patient care services, including but not limited to:
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Performing wound care and other treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient data and treatment plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
